About David Eaton Tractors Ltd

1972 -  David Eaton Started the business operating as a mobile mechanic working locally on all types vehicles, eventually specialising in the repair of tractors & farm machinery.
1977 - Purchased the premises where the business is presently established. He set up a repair workshop and began sourcing good quality second hand tractors & machinery to fulfil the demand of his customers.
1990 - Following the success of supplying used tractors, a new tractor franchise was added in the form of Renault Agriculture Ltd. This was a fairly robust product which was well recieved by many of his customers culminating in David Eaton Tractors being awarded the Renault Agriculure "Dealer of the Year" in 1995.

1994 - Having seen the potential for growth, a salesman was employed and the Claas franchise was taken on for Staffordshire & the surrounding areas. This was a major coup at the time for an independant dealer of our size to gain full line status and were the last dealership to be appointed as such in the UK.
1999 - Incorporated as David Eaton Tractors Ltd.
2001 - With a growing dependance on machinery sales and stagnated sales of new tractors a fresh impetus was required in our business and we were approached by Valtra UK to market their tractor range. Following advice from Claas U.K and other respected industry personel, David Eaton Tractors relinquished the Renault franchise in favour of the Valtra Brand.
2006 - Appointed Main Dieci telescopic handler dealers.
2008 - After years of speculation regarding our position as Claas & Valtra dealers, Claas took the decision to terminate our dealer agreement. Due to Claas having purchased Renault in 2003, all Claas dealers were required to sell "Claas" tractors. Having spent 11 years selling this product albeit in another colour and that our sales of Valtra tractors had far exceeded those of the orange brand after only 7 years, we opted to pursue a future with Valtra.  
2008 - Appointed Amazone Dealers.
2010 - Appointed Krone green harvest & baler dealers.
2016 - Our first new Krone SP Forage Harvester retailed
2018 - After careful review of the AGCO global distribution strategy we have terminated our agreement with Valtra and taken the decision to supply the McCormick range of tractors.

Based between the two historic Staffordshire market towns of Stone and Uttoxeter, David Eaton Tractors Ltd. are centrally based, ideal for machinery sales and service in and around the Midlands.
